If you are reading this you will have heard about Matched Betting and probably looking to find out more about it.
That is exactly where I was when I started my journey on the 5th January 2018. At that time we were looking to earn some extra money and Match Betting was mentioned in an online forum.
I had limited betting experience, an annual bet on the Grand National, the occasional football bet was about it. I rarely went into a High Street bookmakers which I did and still do find a little intimidating! I did have a few online accounts.
Matched Betting does need some initial cash and I started by using my credit card to deposit direct into the accounts with the Bookmakers. So I initially borrowed about £1000 although within two months this was fully repaid. (You now cannot use a credit card to deposit money with a Bookmaker so you will need a minimum of £200 to get started)
After a few months I had gained a good understanding of the basics and moved onto reload offers, these are one off, regular, big game offers etc made by bookmakers to existing customers. These proved to be very lucrative with the following events standing out as good days on the office:
World Cup 2018 - winnings c£2,000
Grand National 2019 - winnings £360 (on the one race)
Cheltenham 2020 - £850 winnings over the 4 day festival
Cheltenham 2021 - £1,700 winnings over the 4 day festival
Unfortunately overtime I was gubbed (click on link for explanation) by a number of the Bookmakers and moved my focused onto other forms of Matched Betting which although are not risk free do have a low risk element if managed correctly. These included New Casino offers, ACCA (accumulator bets) and Horse Racing Extra places.
So my journey over four years has earned me £47,000 and there is no reason why you cannot do the same in the coming four years.

This money is classed as betting winnings and therefore Tax Free
On average I spend 10 hours a week Matched Betting so earn about £23 per hour.
